Introduction

As a Video Game Tester you will:

Get to Play NEW Video Games

Get PAID to Play NEW Video Games

Get PAID to Play UNRELEASED Video Games before anyone else

Get FREE Copies of Video Games

Get Cheat Codes, Level Secrets, and other "bugs" that only game testers know about.

Get vital Real-World experience working with various departments such as development, marketing, manufacturing, and get "your foot in the door" to the software testing industry.

Why would companies pay you to beta test games?

The video game industry is now over a US$50 billion dollar business. In the case of nationwide companies, producing games that have bugs in them -- games that the customers will return, means losing millions of dollars, and likely jobs.

Programmers are experts at programming; most of them are not gamers. Video game companies need real people, not programmers, who enjoy playing video games and will report back any bugs or problems they find. They will pay you to test their games and send problem reports.

How much can you make as a video game tester?

If you love playing video games, becoming a video game tester is one of the best ways for you to make money... from $10-$90/hour depending on experience. Most first-time testers make $10-$30/hour.

Let's put that into perspective. If you made $30/hour, you would be making...

20 hours/week = $600/week! That's over $2,400 a month!

30 hours/week = $900/week! That's over $3,600 a month!

40 hours/week = $1,200/week! That's over $4,800 a month! That's $57,600/year!

How much do you make in your current job? Wouldn't you rather be playing video games?
